I didn't know Kory for very long, but the time we knew each other was one of the best friendships I have ever had. Kory was one of those people, at least it seemed to me, who could make a friend easily. I remember talking to him one night online, and we decided to exchange care packages. He sent the package to me, and I was thinking how awesome it was to receive something from him. I decided to send him some smoked salmon. After he received it and tried it, I received several text messages about how he liked it so much but couldn't find it anywhere near him. (He finally found some though.)Everytime I see and/or eat smoked salmon now I realize how saddened I am that my friend is gone. I am glad to have met Kory and I will always miss him.
